Tackle Football Information

The WTYFC are members of the Chicagoland Youth Football League, or TCYFL. The TCYFL is made up of teams from Northern Illinois. The WTYFC football teams are divided into five levels or divisions:

BANTAMS

The Bantam Division is made up of players 7 and 8 years of age.

Maximum weight for this division is 90 lbs

Older lighter Max age of 9 and weight 60 Ibs.

FEATHER-WEIGHTS

The Featherweight Division has a maximum age of 10 years of age.

Maximum weight for this division is 100 Ibs,

Younger heavier is up to 120 lbs.

Older Lighter Max age 11 80 Ibs..

MIDDLE-WEIGHTS

The Middleweight Division has a maximum age of 12 years of age.

Maximum weight for this division is 110 lbs.

Younger heavier is up to 130 lbs.

LIGHT-WEIGHTS

The Lightweight Division has a maximum age of 14 years of age.

Maximum weight for this division is for 12 year old 130 lbs Sunday team only

13-14 year olds 125lbs Max Weight

Younger Heavier Pac Teams is up to 145lbs

HEAVY-WEIGHTS

The Heavyweight Division has a maximum age of 14 years of age.

Weight Limit for non-stripers is 170lbs

Stripers- Unlimited Weight

The different levels are determined on the TCYFL. The TCYFL has a Saturday and Sunday league, which are a competitive league with playoffs for each level. For more information of the TCYFL, visit their website at www.tcyfl.net.

Registration prices are as follows:

$250.00* fee for the first child.

*We also will require an equipment deposit fee in the amount of $250.00. This can be paid by check or credit card. This payment will be held and returned to you when you return your equipment. The date of equipment handout will be emailed or mailed to you. That is when the deposit is do.

The registration fee is the basic fee for playing football. And covers the costs of providing equipment, insurance, fields, and ECT for the players. Player may register by attending one of the registration sessions. Should a player miss the registration sessions, the player may sign up by contacting someone through the website.

ALL CHECKS SHOULD BE PAYABLE TO THE WOODSTOCK THUNDER YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER OR WTYFC.
